About
The Bambi Fund envisions a world where the creativity of local communities has replaced the harmful beliefs and practices of settler colonialism and extractive capitalism. It is a world where ecosystems of sustainable grassroots businesses, nonprofits, and changemakers work together to create solutions to local -- and global -- problems.
The primary way they are working towards this vision is by providing funding and capacity building support to people of color and Indigenous peoples, especially those who identify as women, LGBTQIA2S+ people, and disabled people. The funding and co-learning experiences they offer are collaborative, flexible, and encourage our grantee partners to be the decision makers. Their programming and grantmaking offerings actively work towards ending systems of oppression within our own work and within philanthropy as a whole.
